With over 20 years experience, Noni strives to create “casual elegance” through her classic style and focus on comfortable interiors. Our projects range in style and size; no project is too big or small. We will design a single room, or help with the design of an entire home from concept to completion. We have done many “turn key” projects where we supply everything, including furniture, window treatments, linens, and accessories right down to the spice drawer if that is what you would like. Clients come to Noni because of her love for design, her ability to listen to what the client needs, and dedication to the project’s completion. Her excellent communication between the clients and contractors makes the design process an enjoyable experience that has resulted in many lasting friendships.
Noni Pace, ASID
I grew up in Charlevoix, where I spent a lot of my time competing on the ski slopes. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from Michigan State University. While there, I gained invaluable experience through studying interior design and architecture in Milan, Paris, and London. Upon graduation, I moved to Aspen, Colorado to enjoy the mountain life. It was there, while working for a prestigious architecture firm, that I obtained my love for fabulous architecture, design, finish materials, and style.
The beauty of Northern Michigan and desire to be close to family brought me back to Charlevoix in 1997. Since then I have created my own family and am raising three wonderful boys!

After vacationing in Charlevoix for more than 40 years, I fell in love with the area’s beauty and timeless charm. Renovating a cottage here—now my year-round home—introduced me to Noni, the interior designer who guided the project. Throughout the renovation, I discovered how much I enjoyed the creative process and the thoughtful collaboration that goes into exceptional design. That experience inspired me to join her team when the opportunity arrived.
As her Design Assistant, I bring a creative foundation in studio art with a background in illustration and ceramics. For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Noni. Together, we enjoy brainstorming creative solutions and developing thoughtful, personalized interiors for each client. My artistic background gives me a strong eye for color, composition, texture, and craftsmanship, allowing me to help bring each design vision to life with careful attention to detail
